7th Grade

The program follows the same school calendar as all other schools in the Iowa City Community School District. 7th Grade students are required to take year-long classes in Language Arts, Literacy, Math, Social Studies, Science and PE. In addition, they take 12-week (one trimester classes) in Art, Personal Development, and Family and Consumer Science. Throughout their year students also meet in homeroom four times a week.

Classes meet synchronously in the mornings, while the afternoons are reserved for support and extended learning opportunities.
