Students in 12th grade have the most flexibility of all when it comes to fulfilling their high school requirements. They have options for all of the four core areas. It is recommended that college-bound students take four years of English, math, social studies and science. Also, some students will round out their classes in their senior year by taking AP classes or classes from Kirkwood Community College. Students interested in earning college credit during their senior year should consult with the counselor during course registration for more information.
